OFFICIAL PRESENTATION OF THE BESOCCER CD UMA ANTEQUERA

 

A wonderful enclave, the Hotel Convento La Magdalena, hosted the putting on of the green squad ahead of its campaign to return to the silver category of national futsal and the senior affiliate BeSoccer UMA Los Olivos

 

The preseason stage of the BeSoccer CD UMA Antequera in the City of Los Dólmenes had a touch of splendor on the night of Tuesday, August 13. The magnificent facilities of the Hotel Convento La Magdalena hosted the official presentation ceremony of the new university squad that is already working on designing a roadmap to the highest competitive ranking of the National Futsal League from the ever demanding Second Division championship. The club organized an event to bring players and coaching staff closer to those fans who came to the chosen venue and, in addition, unveiled the new kits designed by Umbro, in its premiere as a technical sponsor. There was no lack of representation from the collaborating institutions: Junta de Andalucía, Diputación de Málaga, Ayuntamiento de Antequera and Universidad de Málaga; and from the sponsors: BeSoccer, BMW Automotor Premium, Grupo ANP, Hotel Antequera, Halcón Viajes, Automoviles Torres, Rincón Dental, El Botijo and Coca-Cola.

 

 

Paco Peramos, speaker and voice of the Argüelles in each game, created a favorable climate to bring out the magic that is so characteristic of the Antequera box. First he called the Third Division subsidiary on stage and then one by one the players of the first team by dorsal order leaving the first captain Miguel Conde for the end. Then came the turn of the coaching staff, led by Manuel Luiggi Carrasco "Moli" before taking the family photo. In the turn of the speeches, the referent of the wardrobe and wearer of the bracelet took the floor, emphasizing that the mixture of youth and experience in the block will soon give results under the banner of daily work and effort. Moli thanked the support of Antequera as well as the trust of all the people who make it possible to carry out an exciting project and set the goal of being an applicant to play the promotion play-off in a League with increasingly tougher rivals.

 

On the institutional side, Ana Cebrián, deputy mayor of the Antequera City Council, sent a message of encouragement to the team, highlighting the commitment of the local institution to futsal and sport in general; María de Nova, general director of Sports Promotion of the Junta de Andalucía also took the floor; and a little more in-depth analysis of the commitment to unite sport and university training came from Pedro Montiel, president of the entity and Director of Sports at the UMA. Laura Moreno, Director of the Sports Area of the Diputación de Málaga, represented the provincial entity.

 

A first level stay in the facilities of the Hotel Antequera involves strengthening the group during the concentration and taking off from the succession of intense workloads in double training sessions with the aim of tuning the players before the start of the season on September 14 at the Soliss FS Talavera track. Starting next Tuesday, August 20, at 8:00 p.m., the series of friendlies will begin with the duel in Amate against Real Betis FS.
